Mr. Roberts has won the Wolfson Prize for History\, is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature\, the Lehrman Institute Distinguished Lecturer at the New-York Historical Society and the Roger and Martha Mertz Visiting Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.
